BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Students are
expected to display courteous, respectful, and Christian behavior at all
times. The following rules are general and are to be followed by all
students:

Be respectful
to others (no name-calling, teasing, profanity, or disrespectful
language of any kind, whether written or oral).
·
Be respectful
to church and school property – the school/parish is co – tenant of
lockers and desks and reserves the right to search them at any time
without notice. (total reimbursement or repair cost of the damaged
article(s) will be required from the responsible student or his/her
family.
·
Follow
directions given by faculty, staff, or any adult who is given
responsibility for supervision.
·
Be honest (no
lying, stealing, or cheating)
·
Be prepared
for class.
·
Do not chew
gum on school grounds.
·
Be in proper
uniform.
·
Report
problems or emergencies to the teacher or responsible adult.
·
Maintain
silence in the hallways during class time to avoid distractions.
·
No running in
hallways or horseplay in restrooms.
Students will
be held accountable for their actions on or off school property as
representatives of St. Mary's School.
Teachers will have specific rules that apply to their classrooms. These
rules and expectations will be discussed with the students at the
beginning of the school year.
